it never fails to amaze me what Israel manages to achieve - a country small enough you can drive across it in a couple of hours, and with fewer people than many large cities: and yet they always manage to punch above their weight in technology, culture, business, and just about everything else. Maybe being surrounded by enemies all the times stops you getting complacent like the west has.

Yes. Mossad have so little to do with their time, they dress up as finger puppets, put on Russian accents, and spend their days deleting comments from complete nobodies on Youtube. 🙄

@mrmr446 Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. 1. Please name an occasion when Israel has used nuclear weapons, or where America has committed its forces on Israel's behalf. 2. Do you know what happened before Egypt and Jordan made peace? It can be helpful to go back more than five minutes in determining causes of things. . . . . . . . .
6
@joshuazelinsky5213 Arabs are not very good at understanding the whole "action-reaction" thing. They hit you, then call it "aggression" when they get hit in return.
6
Probably because neither of them is really capable of functioning as one.
5
Allah seems to pretty consistently side with Israel TBH. . . . . . . .
5
"people want Ukraine 🤣" This isn't WWE kid. People younger and smarter than you are losing their lives and limbs. Show some respect.
4
@mrmr446 So no answer to either question? Maybe you should acquaint yourself with at least some facts before speaking. . . . . .
3
@mrmr446 1. Nuclear armed states have routinely lost wars to non-nuclear opponents: from Vietnam and Afghanistan to Algeria and Ukraine. No one has used them since 1945. Your comment was silly and irrelevant. 2. You never said when America sent it's forces to fight for Israel. 3. What happened before Egypt and Jordan made peace?
3
@Sunopeek "Egypt and Syria had nukes as well back then" No. They didn't. And they still don't. The level of ignorance on this thread is appalling.
2
@RyH-yx4ys "Your point is actually pretty dumb" And yet you didn't actually dispute it. You just supplied reasons, none of which nerfed my actual point. Maybe learn to read before opening your mouth next time huh?
2
@RyH-yx4ys Did I really I hurt your feelings by suggesting Iraq and Syria are not very stable countries. 🙄 Maybe try to be less sensitive. "it's still a functioning country " They don't even control a 1/3 of their country. But I doubt you know that.
2
@RyH-yx4ys Oh dear - you really are too sensitive for this world aren't you flower? "It's still a country, sort of!" - isn't really a rebuttal to a statement that a country doesn't function very well. You can go on having this little meltdown about it if you want - but none of the grown ups will care.
2
Almost like it wasn't a fireworks display put on to entertain children on the internet. . . . . . . . .
2
@a3cools115 "All flights to and out of Tehran were resumed within a few hrs" Why would they not be? Israel wasn't attacking civilian airports.
2
I believe they shot down one of their own civilian airliners after Trump took out that Iranian commander. So there's that I guess. . . . . . . .
1
Jordan are an Israeli ally - have been for years.
1
@mrmr446 Do you write Kamala's speeches? Cos that was a word salad for the ages. But thank you for confirming you know exactly zero history of the conflict and the region.
1
@Sunopeek You do know Israel exports more than it imports don't you? No. Of course you don't. 🙄
1
@mrmr446 "I was born in the region and have family there" Ahhhhhh that explains it - educational standards in the Arab world are notoriously low: the result of your deeply ingrained anti-intellectual culture.
1
@mrmr446 "Talks happened before peace" And what happened before the talks? Gees this is like talking to a toddler. . . . . .
1
@mrmr446 "I was born in the region" That explains a lot. . . . . . .
1
@mrmr446 "Israel gave up occupied territory" And how did Israel come to "occupy" that territory? "It's easy to look impressive when you're the only one with an airforce" Egypt Jordan and Syria all had air forces. How do you manage this? Just not knowing *ANYTHING*?
1
@Sunopeek Because America wants a testing ground for it's latest weapons and to subsidize it's own arms industries: and because they' allies. Any more silly questions?
1
@mrmr446 Since I'm getting bored of your ignorance - the answer is that the Arab countries tried to destroy Israel half a dozen times and were defeated each time. "Egypt and Jordan still have airforces" Yes. I told you that. 🙄
1
@Sunopeek If you ever learn to read - you could try a book called "Weapon Wizards": it will explain to you the history of an industry you have clearly never heard of.
1
@Sunopeek Because America wants someone else to test their weapons for them and to subsidize their own arms industry - it's pretty simple. . . . . .
1
@mrmr446 So according to you, Israel attacked for no reason, won, then gave everything back, because it was all just for a giggle? And they did that multiple times, and then the people they "attacked" (and gave everything back to for no reason) offered peace (which they always wanted anyway) and Israel stopped starting wars just for fun - also for no reason. Well this has been a most diverting little trip down the byways of pure fantasy. . . . . .
1
@mrmr446 Oh you have heard of the wars the Arabs started then - I was starting to wonder. Every war Israel has ever fought was started by their enemies with the intent of destroying them - eventually, some of them figured out they kept losing and it wasn't worth it. Sadly certain groups have yet to join the dots.
1
@mrmr446 "it has never been in danger of being wiped out" The only person who believes that is you - the Arab countries literally said that was their intention on each occasion they attacked.
1
@mrmr446 "Easy to look impressive when none of your opponents have an airforce." Dear god, you've just contradicted yourself again 🙄 What is the point of this. . . . . . . .
1
@Sunopeek "Yes, they did" Proof. I'll wait.
1
@Sunopeek No proof then? Thought not.
1
@mrmr446 I'm watching a guy who thinks Israel is the only country with planes: squabble with a guy who thinks Russia gives nuclear weapons out like candies. It's truly fascinating to watch the two smallest minds on the planet duking it out for the title. . . . . . .
1
@RyH-yx4ys Oh dear - you really are a fragile little petal aren't you? "It's still a country, sort of!" - isn't really a rebuttal to a statement that a country doesn't function very well. You can go on having this screaming meltdown about it if you want - but none of the grown ups will care.
1
@RyH-yx4ys Since you're a fragile person - you may be interested in a thing called the "fragile states index". Go look it up - when you've calmed down of course.
1
@RyH-yx4ys "about topics that you know nothing about lol" You didn't even know Iraq doesn't control a 1/3 of it's supposed territory kid.
