The Irish have a long tradition of ground-up irregular "resistance" - which England definitely does not. I wonder if that is why they are pushing back on this, and the English are just passively letting it happen.

When people say "You deserve immigration because of the empire" - they are admitting that immigration is bad for us, and is a punishment.

@Africa1000 What is wrong is they are losing their country and their identity - and suffering a major fall in their quality of life. They don't need any other justification. They don't exist for the benefit of incomers.

Funny how in place like Britain and France, the excuse for infinite immigration is "you had an empire", but when it's Ireland or Sweden which never had empires - strangely there's still an excuse for infinite immigration.
