  3. This is what makes me think there is no hope - it's not like anyone in Scotland was duped into this: they knew exactly what these people thought of them, and they still voted for it. I deeply regret Scotland's decision to commit suicide, but we can't force them to value their own heritage and identity. I'm planning to try to find some convivial corner of the world to settle. Exile is preferable to living in the wretched ruins of what was once your home-land.

  4. They didn't "fall" for anything. They were asked, "Do you want to be replaced and your culture destroyed?" and they answered "Yes". I find that an appalling decision - but we can't force them to value their own heritage, culture and identity.

  7. This whole country is finished. I'm slowly trying to get the "acceptance" stage of the grieving process, because it's very clear the disease is now terminal, and in an advanced state.

  12. It is desperately sad - they knew exactly that replacement and the death of the heritage was being planned, and they voted for it anyway. I suppose that like with individuals, if a country wants to commit suicide badly enough: you can't stop it.
