I have zero problem with the idea that Christianity is better for a society than Satan worship. It says a lot about the left that they promote the latter and condemn the former.

@KingAdrock420 "They don't even believe in Satan as a literal being" Ah - thanks for admitting this isn't about religious freedom after all. In which case they can be banned from school grounds without any fake debates about the 1st amendment.
6
Bob "something that is not frightening at all" Yeah - what could possibly be frightening about people who publicly declare their commitment to evil having access to your children?
5
@bryanfoster2651 Do you think people should be allowed to keep slaves if it's "part of their religion"? Are you for religious freedom or not?
4
@MarkHicks326 A Satanist is a follower of Satan. As a Christian is a follower of Christ. Do you understand that words mean things?
4
@JBBost "You realize that the Christian religion specifically allows slavery" Says who? The Pope? The Archbishop of Canterbury? The Patriarch of the Eastern Church? I take it you can produce examples of these three men supporting slavery since that's part of Christianity? "while The Satanic Temple does not" By definition a Satanist doesn't believe right and wrong are meaningful concepts.

@tatiana.mp3 Do you know what the 1st amendment says? "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances" - A school is not congress. - Prayer in school is not congress. - Satanists claim not to be a religion anyway. I'm so board of knowing the American constitution better than American libs do.
2
@robertnobles8189 "the 14th amendment extended the protection from state government " No it doesn't say that anywhere. It's very specifically about laws concerning citizenship, electoral representation and public debt. Libs love to just make up things in the constitution that aren't there.
2
@robertnobles8189 No they're not. If the local government was trying to kick in the doors of the homes of these Satanists and drag them to prison, then that might be a violation of 1A: but simply "not helping them" does not qualify. Or do you think the Klan should be able to declare itself a religion and be entitled to public resources?
2
Well at least we don't need to have a debate anymore about whether the left are evil - they're openly worshipping the symbol of ultimate evil.
1
@billh.8515 Thank you. I find people tend to repeat clichés they've heard on social media without ever having thought about those clichés or what the flaws in them are.
1
@robertnobles8189 They're the Temple of Satan. They said so, not me. They could have called themselves a science club if that's what they wanted.
1
@KingAdrock420 I'm a troll because I told you what the constitution actually says? That's some seriously weak-sauce there sunshine. "You're actually arguing that the Bill of Rights only applies to the federal government?" No. I'M not arguing that. The 10th amendment does. "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people" I'll I'm doing is telling you what's written in the document. The fact that you don't like it, is irrelevant. Facts don't care about your feelings.
1
@robertnobles8189 1. Since there is no obligation at a federal level to provide public resources to Satanists: therefore there isn't one at a state level either. 2. Any power not reserved to the federal government is reserved to the states in the 10th amendment. The one you libs routinely ignore when you want to impose your ideology and claim to respect when you want to break immigration laws.
1
@MarkHicks326 Learn to speak clearly and you'll have these problems less often.
1
@john-cc7ul Why should people who publicly devote themselves to evil not be given public resources? Well - shall we do the same for the Klan or ISIS and see how you feel about that?
1
@robertnobles8189 You didn't answer my question - if the Klan declare themselves a religion, are you OK with them getting public resources?
1
@Slim Zazzabim So to be clear - none of the leaders of the three main branches of Christianity agree with you, but you know Christianity better than ALL of them do? On the same basis - I happen to know for a fact that you eat babies.
1
@hopeintruth5119 "Not all Satanist follow or believe in Satan" If they call themselves "Satanists" they don't get to whine when people think they do. No one forced them to call themselves that. I know the left is trying to strip language of all objectivity to suit their post-modern hell: but words do still mean things.
1
@MarkHicks326 Lol - thanks for playing sunshine. Go play with your toys now and let the grown ups talk.
1
@hopeintruth5119 "Conservatives are also neo liberals" Citation needed.
1
@Slim Zazzabim No that's not how it works sunshine - you don't get to accuse someone of something and then demand they disprove it. This is called the "burden of proof", and it is placed on the accuser not the accused. A concept you instinctively recognized when you threw your toys around at my baby-eating analogy. It would not be up to you to disprove it but me to provide evidence. Are you following this, or would you like me to explain using shorter words?
1
@john-cc7ul What a stupid comment. How exactly am I supposed to have met these unpleasant individuals and assessed each of their lives for transgressions? All I know of them what they advertise - that they worship the symbol of ultimate evil. They chose it - not me.
1
@romakrelian So did MLK, what's your point? Are you OK with the Klan being able to form clubs in schools to recruit new members?
1
@robertnobles8189 We both know such a thing would never be allowed and you would never defend it if it did. That's fine - I'm happy for the Klan not to be allowed to brainwash kids in schools. I just wish all the libs on here would admit they support Satanists because they're anti-Christian, not because of poorly-thought-through claims about allegedly valuing religious freedom when they've been at war with religious freedom for half a century.
1
@hopeintruth5119 Is Donald Trump a conservative?
1
@john-cc7ul if you want to claim religious freedom - you need to be a religion. So are the Satanists a religion on not? I know we live in a world were men can be women and murdering babies is "health-care", but the language hasn't yet lost ALL meaning.
1
@Slim Zazzabim "they're not Satanists. They never claimed to be" They're sponsored by "The Satanic Temple of the United States". Is English not your first language? "if you're referring to abortion at I'd ask you stop being illiterate and refer to them as a fetus" You lot didn't like it when we referred to your slaves as people either, you insisted we "stop being illiterate" and refer to them as 3/5 of a human being instead. Dehumanizing your victims is something your side has been doing for a loooong time.
1
@Slim Zazzabim The Satanic Temple of the United States isn't a Satanist group? That's a. . . . .novel argument. OK, we'll run with it. Thanks for admitting they're lying about being a religion - thus the whole "religious freedom" argument for tolerating their BS just got blown up. By you. I believe the purpose of language is to convey meaning - not to obscure it for political reasons. That's why a conservative and you're a liberal, and it's why I won't play your Orwellian word-games with "that's not a person its a slave" and "that's a baby it's foetus". You're "just a clump of cells" too buddy, and one that's in need of a better argument.
1
@romakrelian I strongly suspect you're lying about that to avoid the logical consequences of your position. After all your mob subject moderate conservatives and even non-woke liberals to cancel culture. The left has no trouble putting a million illegitimate restrictions on every kind of freedom whenever it suits them. The only time they ever take this absolutist view - is when they want to break things.
1
@romakrelian "If I have to hear about your Jesus" Which you never do because liberals systematically purged every trace of Christianity from public life while forcing CRT and gender theory on us all - so nice straw man you've got there. The only reason you like Satanism is that as a liberal, you share their spiteful nihilism.

@MarkHicks326 Time for a block button my monosyllabic troll friend.
