@michaelcoward1902 Life in this country has indeed gone massively downhill since the borders were thrown open and 20 million people, including vast numbers from totally incompatible cultures, were brought into our already crowded island. You can scoff at that, but I've seen it happen in my own lifetime with my eyes, and so have most people.

@robinj6137 No, that is not true, that a lie put about by the people who benefit from lower wages and higher house-prices. And who don't have to bear the consequences of over-loaded services, degraded communities, increased crime and worse job prospects. Not to mention the billions extracted from the economy every year in remittances sent out of the country.

Yup. Most of the country looks like Islamabad already, so it's not like there's even much to leave behind. The Britain I knew as a child, the unique and distinctive culture and nation: has been totally destroyed.

Our population is growing because of staggering immigration - which is utterly destroying the character of the country, making housing unaffordable, overloading our public services and creating huge social divisions and conflicts. If there's one thing the UK desperately needs, it's to return immigration to 1990s levels: and start being a LOT pickier about who we let in.

@JasRoss The very small natural decline of the British population would have been replaced by a minuscule fraction of the immigration we've had since 1997. Not to mention our birth rate would be better if housing were not so unaffordable due to open borers. The "need workers" claim is an excuse used by people who for ideological reasons want to dilute Britain's distinctive national identity through infinite immigration.

The only real priority is increasing the native birth-rate. Most European cultures won't even exist by the end of the century due to catastrophically low birth-rates and uncontrolled immigration from outside Europe.

None of the, "iTs aLl cOs uV bReXiT" mob ever explain why the Eurozone economies are struggling as bad or often worse. The UK's biggest problem is our ruling class prefers to import endless immigrants rather than train and employ our own people.

Britain's entire economy and government is focused around one single objective - infinite immigration. Cheaper labour, more expensive houses, a more Balkanized society. It's utterly destroyed this country.
