I applaud the Malaysians for standing up for their culture and values, and not letting arrogant foreigners dictate to them how they're going to live. I wish Britain was like that. Including not giving a damn what Muslims thought about a book.

@CausallyExplained "if a country held slaves" There are none that don't. There are more slaves in the world now than there were in the 19th century when it was legal. It's worst in Africa, the Muslim world, which are also the places most likely to tell the west they need to pay reparations for slavery that happened 200 years ago.
