  1. When I heard he'd apologized, I literally yelled "OH FOR FUCKS SAKE!" Rogan lives and breaths alternative media - he of ALL people should have known apologizing would only make things worse. I couldn't believe he'd been so stupid.

  2. They have to make an example of Rogan - he symbolizes the slow death of the corrupt old legacy media, and represents the alternative to it. They know they can't try to cancel him and fail, that might suggest they were losing their power.
