Comments by "Incurable Romantic" (@incurableromantic4006) on "USA Is COLLAPSING, Leftist Anti Work Subreddit Hits 1.7M Users As Millennials Embrace Socialism" video.
I read the anti-work subreddit a couple of days ago. They make some valid points about the state of the labour market and how low-paid workers are treated. The trouble is they think they are entitled to be given everything they want for free, which of course means slavery for someone else. They also have a spectacular inability to connect cause and effect - if you try to tell them that open borders and government QE is a huge part of their problems - they'll just call you a fascist and go back to demanding socialism.

It actually creeps me out how prescient the conservatives of the 1960s have turned out to be about the consequences of social revolution and sexual libertinism. We've laughed at them for half a century - but they've been proved right about everything.

Exactly - the consequences of the sexual and social revolution have been slow burning, but have proved to be every bit as bad as the conservatives of the day predicted they would be. The boomers were a spoiled generation who didn't want to work or fight or have families to preserve the great civilisation they had inherited. They wanted to sleep around, take drugs and live on debt. Just like dying civilisations always do.

@1x93cm I have a theory that the reason the media has demonized Joe McCarthy for nearly 70 years is that he put back "the plan" by a couple of decades. They don't want anyone ever again investigating their goings on the way he did.
