  1. They haven't even made the damn thing yet, and already they've gone to war with the source material, the author and the fan-base: AND they're lying to do it. One good thing about the crash and burn of Hollywood - spend less time watching stuff than I used to and more time reading.

  2. I find McKellen quite tiresome as an individual (like most actors he seems self-obsessed), but I never had any problem with him as an actor, and I don't know anyone else who did. It's pathetic watching them flail like this.
