The trouble is gaming "journalism" isn't made up of people who like games - it's made up of woke-studies grads who really want to be writing for the Huffington Post, Buzzfeed, Washington Post etc: and who are slumming it in the gaming industry to try and build a CV. So they stuff their articles and videos full of woke politics because, A - It's all the know. B - They are trying to suck up to the establishment media who they want to give them a job.
