  1. I've got more respect for creators who are sharing a genuine passion for a particular hobby or subject rather than the one's who are selling a lie of a fantasy "lifestyle". But that said, we need a social shift so that people understand that an "influencers" job is always at least in part to sell you stuff.

  2. I don't wholly disagree with that - but I'm also noticing a slow but definite increase in indifference and even hostility towards "celebs". Witness the slow death of the Oscars, and how during Covid when all those celebs were telling us they felt our pain from their multi-million dollar mansions the response was highly negative. Pretty much every time a celeb starts telling people what to do or think now, a large and growing number of people are typing - "STFU".
