  1. No need - the Italian government took every one of them to the mainland within hours. Not "back to Africa" as would have been the obvious thing to do, but onto the mainland. Which is why they keep coming.

  3. "Processing" is a euphemism for "let them all stay". And the reason they keep coming is we invariably do let them stay once they arrive. All that is needed is swift and ruthless removal.
