There's so many benefits to the elites of all this: - Prevent Ukraine disclosing the corrupt dealings of the Biden regime. - Distract people from the disastrous handling of the US economy by the Biden regime, - Distract people from rising food costs and inflation, and find an excuse for them. - Justify increased censorship, surveillance and control. - Create a boogieman to blame all the problems on. - Create an excuse for yet another vast wave of "enriching" immigration to Europe. Etc etc.
