  1. "Stoicism tells its followers that they are tougher or stronger than others" Really? I'm rather a fan of stoicism, and it always seemed to me to make a cardinal virtue of humility. Could you give me some examples of where stoisicm tells its followers to look down on others?

  2.  @NikeonaBike  Well, any moral or philosophical movement that becomes popular enough will inevitably attract some people to it for negative reasons - but that's a problem with human nature, not with the movement itself.
