New York experiencing the consequences of what they voted for.
288
All those "far right racists" who warned that immigration needed to be gotten under control - are owed a huge apology.
267
They called Gregg Abbott a human trafficker and demanded he be imprisoned for bussing migrants to "sanctuary cities". The word "hypocrisy" is far too mild to describe this situation.
239
"The country I broke into, is giving me free accommodation that is not as luxurious as I expected" The entitlement is beyond belief.
139
@daxtynminn3415 Too bad.
106
Not if people keep "voting blue no matter who" it won't.
100
There's two big problems with turning offices into housing: 1. Not enough windows. 2. Not enough plumbing for the extra bathrooms.
84
"bUt tHa oRaNgE mAn dId aN iNsUrEcShUn!" . . . . . . . . .as you'll be told every time you try to explain simple cause and effect to people.
65
As if that's a reason to take them - I mean, would you take animals into your home if a "small minority" were lethally poisonous?
59
"It almost seems like it's happening on purpose" Well Jordan - I've got some news for you there. . . . . . .
42
@fosibro4951 For a start the immigration that built America was nearly all from European countries with somewhat compatible religions and cultures: but also no immigrant in the 18th or 19th century expected to be handed everything they could possibly want for free by the people already there. They had to work for it.
42
"I broke into your country, demanded free everything, and now I'm threatening you"
41
It's all about the 15 minute city - keeping you plebs tightly confined.
40
Especially when the enemy is offering to feed, clothe and house the scouts at their own expense!
40
It's happening in every single western nation - and it's very clearly deliberate.
33
"You'll own nothing and be happy" Oh but they didn't mean it. . . . . . . .
33
@arroyo5born749 "Who tried a coup" Translation - "I parrot whatever CNN says"
30
Why do you think they prefer immigrants who are military age males? It's because they want plenty of muscle on hand to use against the locals if they become restive.
28
They thought the great re place ment would only apply to Republican states. 🤣
28
The great replacement starting to actually affect the people who voted for it. . . . . . . . .
23
"so bad I am considering leaving the city" Just don't support these policies in the new place OK?
22
Government - "We promise none of them are terrorists" Us - "But how would you know when you just wave all of them through?" Government - "sToP bEiNg rAcIsT!"
20
None of these people are really "poor" - they just like the idea of a country where they will be given everything they could ever want for free with no work. It's the same here in Europe. We're taking all the people who don't want to contribute to their own society.
19
This has been the norm in Europe for years - immigrants to the front of the que, citizens to the back.
19
And then the people in those "communities" start whining about "racist food deserts"
18
@Cyber_Freedom So we're agreed that government wastes a lot of money then? Pretty good reason for them to have less of it. . . . . . .
17
Yeah, I used to be appalled as a kid reading about those kinds of punishments - I've started to realize as I've got older that some people simply don't respect anything else.
15
@JesusismyRock773 When they stop voting the same way - I'll stop making the same comment. Deal?
14
I have literally no idea what that metaphor could possibly be implying. . . . . . . . 🤔
12
It's called the grate re place ment
12
If only some political leader a few years ago had proposed doing something to control immigration - perhaps some sort of. . . . . . . .wall?
11
Agreed - people shouldn't have to live like undergraduate students their whole lives.
9
@TheDelayedFuse "I don't need my car to do groceries" Single and childless I take it? Like the elites think we all should be. . . . . .
9
It's going to be fascinating watching the "tip" moment when so many businesses have left New York the place becomes literally uninhabitable because you can't get food.
8
@tm-te9mh Owning a firearm is a universal right guaranteed by the US constitution. But I doubt you have a problem with ID checks for that. . . . . . .
7
@troyelam8978 Yes you here this line trotted out a lot - but most of America's population increase actually came from the native-born. Immigration has always been a fraught issue.
7
It never fails to amaze me how many people can't draw a simple line between cause A and effect B. What did they think would happen when they opened the border and promised free everything to everyone who came?
6
And they'll vote for it again in November - you just watch.
6
And people from some countries - just shouldn't be allowed in.
6
Now watch in (not) amazement as most New Yorkers vote for more.
6
@josephsf2452 You know not even Democrats are buying that line anymore don't you?
6
@Emmy-J "I don't think they voted to have this many people" They absolutely voted for Texas and Arizona to have this many people - they just didn't think they would ever be expected to pay for them.
6
@andreamckenzie8598 "You actually can, in fact, pick both" The politician's favourite pitch. 🙄
5
It's almost as if the conservatives were right all along about social decay, open borders and lax-laws. . . . . . .
4
@myjourney5753 Yes it is a blue problem - the red areas aren't suffering like this.
4
Now watch as all the "outraged" Democrats vote blue AGAIN: because, ya know. . . . . ."mean tweets". 🙄
4
It's a solution to the "problem" of people wanting to have homes, families freedom. . . . . . . .
4
In the 90s I used to think New York looked like a really cool place - but honestly the more I see of it on Youtube, the more I think I'll spare myself the disappointment of a visit.
4
@tm-te9mh Preamble is not pre-condition, a militia is not government controlled, and "shall not be infringed" is totally unambiguous. Thank you for admitting you are in favour of "violating" freedoms with background checks. BTW - your description of ordinary Americans as "plebs" is very telling as to your attitude towards them.
3
@tm-te9mh So - when can I "update" your right to vote? Because you clearly haven't had the training to use it responsibly.
