  4. This is my problem with the whole "anti-racist" shtick: we have a vast amount of evidence now that some cultures are simply not compatible with each other - as Europe has discovered in the last 20 years.

  6.  @infinitelz2  There were definitely some people in the ancient world (western) who argued for humane treatment of other people - but I'm not sure there was a philosophical opposition to slavery per-se until the 18th century.
