@wackabug art is subjective, so personal opinion is not irrelevant. You can absolutly have a different opinion, nobody denies that. If you wanna talk about objective criteria, yeah rap is a subgenre of music. And even the worst singer is technicly still a singer/musician even if you do not like his singing.

 @wackabug because there are like 2 or 3 actually good rap artists. Everything else is hardly even music.

@kyleharrison2286 you said you think that this Tom guy is in my top 3. I made that I do not know who that is. What am I misdirecting here? I would argue that Eminem is the best, for once because he is actually really talented and his songs/texts have aome actual meaning unlike the vast majority. I think the second best was probably Tupac even though I personally absolutly hate a lot of his "messages". But he was talented as well. Maybe B.I.G. as well but I personally do not like his songs which is not a valid criteria, but because I did not listen to a lot of his stuff I can not objectivly say a lot about him. There may be some other good ones that I do not know, but looking at the mainstream of the last 20 years, I doubt that.
