  4. About 50-60% of all members of the scientific community in USA are atheists. Which in itself is okay, half of the them are atheists and the other half is not. But when you look at the proportions of atheists/theists in the general pipulation of the USA, you see that just around 20% of the population identify themselfs as atheists. So yeah there are disproportionaly many atheists in the scientific community.

  5.    what does it matter what imginary friend they believe in? Christian, Muslim, mormon or whatever, they are still theist. And yeah the 50-60% atheist in the svientific community? Look back like 50-100 years ago. The number was lower, way lower. But it is growing, cause all the older folk, die off or stop working and most of the newcomers are atheist. And yeah religion goes against pretty much the ciore concept of science itself. The only religios group that kinda sticks out are jews. Quite a number of scientists are jewish.
