@SerfinBird USA in WW2... what a joke, you do understand that USA actually joined the combat when the soviets already did break the Reichs spine. And what did the US army do? They landed in Normandy, pretty much the best fortified area. They lost thousands while landing at that beach out of sheer stupidity. And even then they were lucky that the germans pulled out a lot of their forces out of Normandy before that day. If they did not do that, the US casualties would be way higher.

@paja2788 you would bw right, except Ukraine never did declare war or even anything similar. So there is no legal reason for mandatory service and people being forced into the service is illegal.

@BrotherHood-xh9sg it is weird in cases where their own vountry is actually a country that cares about their citizens. This is not the case with Ukraine.

@paja2788 actually you need it. Ukraine did not declare any kind of official state emergency either. And such behavior directly violates ukrainian constitution. But the ukrainian government after the Maidan never cared for it or any human rights.

@brobot_8371 well this is kinda a stupid comment. What does it matter how crappy Bosnia is? The quality of life dropped in Germany several times in the past 2 decades. And instead of fixing domestic problems, the germam government is financing a corrupt state. Great job.

@desmondgriffith7855 and?

@desmondgriffith7855 dude you just wrote how many people died in Normandy. So what? How does that in any way invalidates what I said? Your comment was pointless. That is why I asked "and?". And instead lf being a smug smartass you could actually try to finish your thought.

@brobot_8371 of course Germany is better than any eastern european country, but only in comparison to them and only because Germany did a good job 50 years ago, while those countries suffered communism. I lived 20+ years in Germany. In the last 10 years the government managed to cut the living standart to less than 1/3 of what it used to be.
