Not really. If you look at the ammo production in EU, it was being cut down over the recent years. The only part of NATO that produces a lot of shells is USA. And even they do not produce enough. It will take a year or two to build new production lines. And EU has not even started building them.

@Marrothefirst cause it makes sense (economicly) to use up oder equipment. Why do they need to buy their own gear? Cause russian army is corrupt. They have been "investing" in churches instead of gear. It is not that they were not prepared. I talked to a few russian officers/soldiers and they did not know that they gonna invade Ukraine and those who knew were told, that they gonna meet no resistance and most ukrainian people wellcome them and that ukrainian government gonna surrender. That is why they went in with stretched out support lines and not prepared to fight. That was a royal f. up.

I mean one is a high tech rocket capable of long range which is difficult to hit because of its speed. The other one is just a bomb. I actually would expect somethink like 1 Kaliber = 300-400 FAB.
