  41.  @sudo_nym  ehm yeah that how it works. But it is not only mine. I know litteraly nobody in Russia who thinks Solzhenitsyn is a good writer. And I have pretty much only anti communists as friends. And all communists hate him. From objective standpoint his books are not that great. In the context of the time he was living in, they were surely great. But reading them today while being able to compare them to other authors. They are just mediocre at best. And in my humble opinion they are badly written crap.

So he is a muslim in all but the name. You know why he does that? Because religious people are regarded as strange on the political left (which is pretty much the only good thing about the left).
