@enisab1624 they can very well vote. Not that hamas is actually holding any elections. But with surveys showing that 70+% of population of Gaza support them, that is not even needed. Everyone knows exactly who would win the election there. How the hell is Israel interfiering? They left Gaza in 2005. In the West Bank there is the PLO or whatever they are called. They are somewhat better, but still crap. At least they are not letting hamas in there. If they would, that would be bad, cause around 30% of population of West Bank are pro hamas.

@AetheriusComics you do understand that this is exactly the problem? So lets say there are at most only a few dozen thousands people qualified for that position in the whole. Not all of them want that position, cause they may have something better. Not all of them live near the Harvard and are not able/willing to relocate. Some are too young and some are too old. So lets be generous and say you still have like 2K qualified people. If you hire based on race, you cut down like 85% or so. So you are at best at 200-300 people. And those are very generous assumptions. Of course it will be way more difficult to find a good one out of 200 instead of 2K. And that is ehy affirmative action is actually a very bad thing.

Except palestine is not a country. And no. Russia/Ukraine the same as Israel/terrorists are just small local wars. Russia vs Ukraine will never escalate to anything more, cause nobody wants a nuclear war. Israel vs terrorists may escalate to Syria or so joining. Which once again will end with a somewhat bigger local war. Neither Russia nor USA is gonna participaze directly, cause once again they do not want nukes landing in their backyard. The only "bigger" player to join the fray may be Iran. But Iran will not join the fight, cause that would mean losing troops and opening their side to attacks from other neighbors and that is the best case. Worst case Israel is gonna nuke them. So they are gonna just sponsor terrorists like they are doing now.

@AetheriusComics yes I agree, but the problem with positions in high education is that the 2K is not in a single state or in two. We are talking the whole USA. So it just does not matter, you are always stuck with the same pool of people. And yeah just like you said you dont need to look everywhere just at the right place, but the thing is if you decide to hire based on race or something like that, you very well may be sorting out exactly those people who are perfect for the job.

@AetheriusComics obviously there are good/qualified people from all races. The problem is that a lot of those best qualified people probably already have similar or even better jobs. Or have other reasons for nottaking that job. And after all that you you throw out 85% of the candidates. The probability that you will find the right person is just low. Oh I agree on the point that the one they picked was a total crapshow. Nobody is denying that. What I am saying is just pick the best/most qualified person. It is impossible for two persons to have identical qualifications. Race or whatever should not be a deciding point that in any way. So if the person who is perfect for this job is a black and identifies himself as anon-binary reindeer I would not care. Is he doing a good job? Yes? Great lets keep him. No? Boot him out and get a good one. To decide based on race is just racist and stupid. The only cases where race should be a deciding point is something like casting for movies, casting models or something like that. If you need a white/black/whatever actor, you should get one.

What a moronic argument. Israel is responsible for the safty of its own citizen. Of course they would not just bomb their own hospital. But they would not allow a terror system under the hospital in the first place. Palestinians not only did allow it, they supported hamas. They are responsible for the whole mess. Not Israel. And for friggs sake he does not know what would be enough for hamas to not attack Israel anymore. What a coward and a lier. First point in hamas charta says, that they want the eradication of all jews. They will never stop as long as Israel exists. So that guy is just another terrorist supporter. Anyone with 2 brainvells or more understands that.

A ceasefire will only give hamas more time to do more terror attacks like the one from the 07.10.23. So calling for a ceasefire is just the same as saying you want more dead jews. So which is it?

@alienbotfarm187 1. Israel is not indiscriminately bombing Gaza. They are bombing terrorists. Not their fault or problem that terrorists are using human shields. 2. They were not oblidged to give Gaza any power or water to begin with. They have all the rights to shut them off. They should have never given them any to begin with. 3. Nope Israel is not occupying palestine. First of all, there is no such state as palestine. How can Israel occupy something that does not exist? You mean the Gaza strip. And in that case still no. They are not occupying it. They pulled out of Gaza in 2005. You should learn some basic facts.

@flamboyentpromotions3471 first of all they are not protesting for a ceasefire. Ceasefire in this sitatuion means, hey lets give hamas more time to regroup and escape or send more rockets to Israel. They are shouting "From the river to the sea", which is just a "demand" to kill jews. This is hardly peacefull or democratic. Just imagine jews marching through London shouting "Kill all arabs" or something like that. If they were actually for peace, they would condemn hamas and protest them and not Israel.
