Well.. its sort of get a bit Liqvified by very heavy vibrations. Something like a catterpillar track will make it a bit liqified.

Blue clay nevwr dry out. If its dry it make a thin cheramic like surface. Large machine cam just break throw. Even if the ground look really solid, something like a excavator can break throw and just think. I seen a truck do that in real life. Also often when we build houses on blue clay irs built with a floating foundation. Basically its like a boat. The foundation is drained and will harden the clay closest to rhe house keeping it fixed while the balance of the house and ground will prevent ot from sinking of floating up. In some placed also roads are built that way, but that turned out to be a bit expenive
