  1. That is really not a quite fair comparisson. The clio is a compact car or a type B car while the crow vic is a full size car or a type F. Type B is really not the most common size in europe and type F is not the most common size in usa. Both type C and D are more commom. Maybe not in france, but other nations also exist in europe. Even as a full size car the crown vic is longer than most of them. Comparing a type C to a type E the diffrance is really not that large.and also type D is quite common in europe. In our family we have one type B and ome type E suv. That is really a quote commom combination. My sister got a type C and here husband got s pick up. Ny parrents got a type E suv and a type E . My brothrt thst is no longer married got a type D car and his ex wife got a type C car. Skoda octavia is a pretty freaking small car for a main family car. I know people who have ir, bit they typically have grown kids or just one child. I would say type D or E estate or suv is way more common. Type F suv is almost non existing in europe. But that is due to licensing constraint. Basically you will need a C1 licese and those are pretty uncommon. A fiat 500 would you typically se a women driving here.
