This video kind of stradle the line between fake and real. Worth saying, the creates of the video is not trying to be dishonest. They are quite honest about what is fake, but it seams like most people watching it don´t understand. Firstly, the sound is pretty much 100% fake (note video title "w/sound design added"). Its stock sound just added to the video. (its fake in the sense that its was not original to the video, but the imagination of who ever compiled it). Its colorized with a mix of artist and machine coloring. The video is degrained. There use to be a lot of film grain on those video, but there is algorithm to remove it. The blacklevel/gray-scale have been manually adjusted Video is denoised and deblured. Framerate is boasted and resolution boasted via modern algorithm. Note,it all says so in the video description. The video author is probobly very prod of making a video that people believe is authentic and want to show the skill he/she posess. But nobody ever read the video description and that totally get lossed. And to be clear, its very impressive work. The source material look nothing like the end result

Note, this is not a historical video, but a artist impression and machine work based of a historical film source. Both sound and color is added in post. So is inter frame, super resolution and there was also aditionall fixes made to the original like manual grayscale adjustment, degraining, rebluring and much more. Short and long of it. Someone spend a large number of hours creating this video.
