How come you use B trailers in steed of A trailers? Here in Sweden B trailers is pretty much non existent. One advantage with A trailers is that its coupled behind the last axel. So the coupling point is pushed out when going around corners, this make it so the A trailers follow the front wheels much better that is really usable in roundabouts.

Backing a dual hinge road-train around a corner isn´t really that hard. Its something you have to do on the driving test if you want to get a full truck license in Sweden. Typically we have a truck with a A trailer behind in steed of a double B. Its the same concept, but the dynamics is a bit different. Might say its a bit harder, but its more responsive and maneuverable, so it can be backed up in a tighter space

@timjohnun4297 Maybe find the explination on wikipedia. Where it says "A C-train is a semi-trailer attached to a fifth-wheel on a C-dolly. Unlike in an A-Train, the C-dolly is connected to the tractor or another trailer in front of it with two drawbars, thus eliminating the drawbar connection as an articulation point. One of the axles on a C-dolly is self-steerable to prevent tire scrubbing. C-dollies are not permitted in Australia, due to the lack of articulation." This is sort of one of the most common configuration. Of cause not all A trailers are attached with a C-train connection, but plenty are. This allow us to split and recombine road-trains in a way that either-vice would not be possible. The issue with B trains is that they are very bulky when they are detached.
