I used to work for the Library of Congress, at a deep remote storage site, Styx.... I assure you, much of what you aspire to to do is already being done. The site underwent a 4-year upgrade, so there was no job for me there. And when it re-opened, I was gone to New Mexico. Much of which you want is done.
