  2. Area 51 is a decoy, a sham. The big stuff was moved elsewhere years ago.Possibly somewhere in Utah. Or elsewhere in NV. 90 some percent of land in Nevada is federally-owned land. BTW, southern NM is pretty solidly red, while the north is mostly blue; it's because Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Rio Rancho are all in the north that NM tends to go blue. The only city of size in the south is Las Cruces, about 60 miles north of El Paso. The state did elect Gary Johnson, though I'm not sure how. Even among the north's prevalent liberals, gun ownership is wide and enjoys support. You live in the boonies, you probably understand the necessity of owning a long gun of some sort.
