  1. You're wrong about one thing here, Styx: space blankets are DIRT CHEAP. Real blankets cost considerably more. And if it's warm, a real blanket may prove too much. All they need is a little protection from heat loss. A real blanket does not offer that sort of customization. A space blanket can just be draped loosely over the body - like over the hips, for example. Space blankets in large quantities probably cost less than a buck apiece.
