There is such a thing as "too much meat", of course. John Wayne's autopsy revealed FORTY POUNDS of undigested meat (undoubtedly mostly steak) in his intestines. I'm sure his diet, if you can call it that, consisted almost entirely of steak, and you can bet it was mostly all he ate.
Common sense should dictate that an almost entirely consists of meat is going to not come close to providing a human body all it needs nutritionally, but humans, being the sort of preference-oriented beings we are, tend to seek and eat only by preference, instead of listening to what their body is asking for. Meat and sugar! You can't tell someone to reduce this kind of life choice; they are listening to something entirely different and more gratifying. Our modern culture gives a green light to this sort of gratification-seeking behavior.
I do eat meat, mostly beef and a little seafood. A few years ago chicken started to become pretty unsavory to me. I just don't eat it now. I eat pork once in a long while, mostly in the form of Carolina Barbecue (yum!) and the occasional pork chop, always with mint jelly. I've always liked vegetables, except loathsome okra, which is like snot to me. Potatoes are my favorite.
