  1. When I lived in Taos I had the JWs come by from time to time. I normally would never answer the door for them, but the first time they did I peeped through the peephole, and the guy I saw there made me open the door, for some reason. He was different, not at all like the usual sort you get. He was smart and witty, and fun to talk to. I made it clear from the start there was zero chance I would ever show up at his church, but he kept coming by, and I respected that, and he was interesting to talk to.
