  1. Retreat is an option; every good commander must know when to use this option and when to not use it. Surrender is a very different kind of option. Retreat can win conflicts. Surrender very seldom wins.

  2. POSILUTELY! NEVER apologize - they'll pick it up and beat you over the head with it and pretend like you physically hurt them. They're CRYBULLIES!! It's a great term! It's perfect! USE IT! Some of them are genuinely concerned and grasping the only "solution" made readily available to them. A large minority, however, are only out to make the public DEFENSELESS AGAINST TYRANNY. Learn to recognize them.
