This is the Ray I subscribed to when he had 70k subscribers. These are great videos

Wait a minute I thought Toyota’s never break that’s what Scotty says 😂
23
Love how ray fixes what he finds along the way
19
Always check service recalls and bulletin 👍🏻
18
Some technicians use new pump to hold bolts as they are removed. As to make it faster to put back in proper place. It’s all personal preference though
17
@Jeff Karpinski I was wondering about a vent hose not sure that mustang had them maybe the valve it self is bad 🤷🏼
16
I am sorry a Jeep abused you at a young age
11
Oh man love the tool box set up 😱👊🏻
10
What I like about this channel is the different types of vehicles that are repaired. Sooo much to learn
9
My buddy has same general lee he can’t leave it unattended or they vandalized it

@mphilleo yup you still have to use a funnel or something to bleed the air out . What the bleeder does is get a small air pocket that is created right by the thermostat housing. If you don’t get that small amount of air out it could lead to the housing cracking later and leaking. Jeep had a similar issue with the straight 6 4.0 it had an air pocket at back of cylinder head. You had to remove the gauge temperature sensor to vent that air. Go figure

Great gift 👍🏻

@RainmanRaysRepairs I think the repair is great it works and it saves money. And I am a OEM type perfectionist
7
I always use a little lube on end of pick hook back in the day also 👊🏻it was usual white grease
6
@Goodwrench1920 my wife was throwing away a 40count mini muffins pan . I rescued it from the trash and put arrows from left to right in it. Works great doing timing covers with multiple bolts. Just put in the pan as you take them out from left to right.. just like map reading 🥸
6
@forgetfulme1719 maybe y’all could start a self help therapy group to help ya get through this Chrysler Jeep hate thing . Because just not ever buying one doesn’t seem to be working 😂
6
Just my 2c ain’t worth much but when I was taught at the GM dealership way back. They told me not to use grease on the gear oiled bearings as it would keep the oil from flowing to the bearings and create dry spots and premature wear . They had us lube them with gear oil and assembled. I am sure times have changed and that red grease is different 👍🏻
5
It amazes me that a little gasket/O ring could cause that much oil pressure drop
5
You are correct had same problem on rear of Jeep Comanche waited to long and c clip gave way and axle shaft with tire attached passed me on highway as my Jeep came screeching to a grooved stop
5
It’s not a punch line freedom is never free . Breathe in every breath of freedom while we still have it. My values never changed never will
5
@httr21skins 🤯…😂😂😂
5
And people don’t see that there are a lot Jeep’s that last if taken care of 👍🏻they just slam them all the time
5
When I worked as a technician in Wisconsin it took a small C-4 charge to remove bearings 😁
4
Just don’t ever throw in the towel 🤠
4
Exciting and terrifying at the same time. You are great with alignments too bad it didn’t have a alignment rack . Just the beginning as revenue flows more equipment.👍🏻👊🏻
4
Ray is back !!! Lite shenanigans and lots of learning 👊🏻
4
The craziest thing I’ve learned is RTV gasket sealer has to be oxygen sensor safe . I guess as it get hot it turns to a gas and goes in to crankcase ventilation and gets into O2 sensor and destroys them 🤷🏼 who knew
4
It’s a shame you could not get OEM replacement part . Because that was to difficult to do twice if aftermarket fails. Lol that linkage clip was just like the ones on my 70 440 six pack linkage on vacuum secondary’s 😀
4
@jefferp 💯 % correct. I own Jeeps and Toyotas . I take care of them no problems my Jeeps have over 200k on one and 120k on other only brakes drive belt and maintenance. I’ve owned AMC Jeeps and Chrysler Jeeps no problems. I even worked at a AMC Jeep and a Chrysler Dealership as a technician and later a GM dealership as a technician. I’ve seen good and bad in all of them. The old Chrysler yeah they had problems. Remember the K car 😁. But most is poor maintenance
4
If it’s a 2014 or newer order the $11 mopar seal kit . There are 2 oil inlet tube O rings . A 23mm and a 22.3mm for 2014 and newer. Gorman O rings are off size measure for yourself . If not they will leak

3
Correct I have a dual steering stabilizer and same procedure when I installed it 👊🏻
3
I am pretty happy with my rough country lift in my grand Cherokee. The company has great customer services and life time guarantee for the price. I know it’s made in China but so far so good
3
Great tip
3
When your snap on box cost so much you gotta live in it
3
This channel brings all kinds of information. Love it 👊🏻
3
Saw a video on YouTube a mechanic put heat shrink on swivel to keep it stable and still flexible. In my day it was a wrap of black tape around the swivel. Never stop learning
3
I tell ya I love my Autoline pro smoker. I bought it several years ago it’s only $120 and for DIY guys it’s awesome. And you can use baby oil and add a little scent to it helps with detecting leaks
3
First dip in the road and fancy drain plug is toast 😂
3
I have a JK 07 only brakes and oil changes. Owned many Jeeps. My daughter has a 21 Jl no problems
