@katiebarber407 bro u might not realize it but u arguing against the fluidity of words is directly against our interests for other topics as well, like this is exactly what Conservatives do about trans people, saying things like "well akshually 🤓 that's not your REAL name, and pronouns have always referred to your genitals", and even though they're factually wrong, it still sets a precedent for communication and solidifies percieved validity to this semantic war which is exactly how the right maintains people brainwashed. If we all just forgot about semantics and actually agreed on jusy some way to actually talk about the same ideas, we wouldn't be having any of these conversations because the truth would just reveal itself in conversation with the actual facts. But we need to be able to identify the facts in the first place and that is what they're trying and succeeding to stop with all these semantic games.

@Whobgobblin very well said my bro. And I'm saying this as someone who is explicitly anti-religious. Just because I think those values of humans themselves are better off separated and focused on by themselves, apart from any existential faith(s) about physical reality.
