@bobysusjsjsj7730 this is the mentality that just perpetuates the violence tho. To some degree I agree sometimes people need to taste their own medicine, but only to a degree. Giving into the vengeful violence fully just turns the cycle and fails to see that in the end most people don't decide what the end up becoming anyways. Most people are shaped by their own experiences and such. Not having been taught to value certain things, ect. So like I said, teaching a lesson yes, but also understanding "forgive them Lord, for know not what they do" or something like that. But again yes there is a grey area and spectrum, but also both at the same time. Must not lose sight of one or either.

@gamingthisera6339 well the damage still happened. Whether it's justified or not. Doesn't make it good. Just because you have no no other option doesn't make the occurence itself suddenly good. But your decision to engage, if the right one, perhaps was. But the damage still happened, and that's what ur probably feeling down about. Which is normal and we have to accept it and move on and learn from it, but it's not pointless always I think.

@trinitydecora3725 if u were both fine in the end I'd dare to praise your abstinence from escalation. If.

@tenumbriel but that's the thing, you would never make those choices for the future if you didn't have those past experiences. So in the end, it just circles back again, you are only your experiences and instincts.

@herlocksholmes7855 actually it's indeed the exact inverse. Where in cloning there is you and someone who is exactly identical but different person, in memory loss it's the reverse. You remain "you" or the same continuity, but are slowly morphed and transformed into a completely different person. They're both a kind of replacement but maybe different I think idk.
