@crumbtember I wouldn't be so quick to call someone I don't know who maybe sees violence and horrors on a regular basis and saves people from it, a "man child", considering the only things he said about him are what I just said, the thing he said about making him look bad for which I understand the argument t although it is unfortunately a common thing with emotionally neglectful parents in general (though not entirely neglectful per the overprotactiveness), and the video game addiction which obviously depending on circumstances sounds to me possibly a considerable alternative to the typical run-of-the-mill daily alcoholism. See how humans will literally talk about a story of seeing deeper into and showing considerations and empathy for those that do bad things around us, and will do so for the protagonist in the story, but will then immediately go back to their habits even for the next character in the same story. Everyone just needs somebody to hate and blame.

@crumbtember he could have been a manchild but the way you said it made me feel like bringing my point up

@bascal133 bro literally the whole point of this is that no one is "an evil person", it's all just the result of many things and that's why we need to try to make sure it never gets to that point. Even if someone is born with more genetic aggression or less empathy or something that plays into the whole thing, that's not technically inherently "evil". I don't think almost anyone does things "just to be evil". Everyone has reasons and incentive structures for doing things that they end up valuing over other people for reasons x, y, and z. Which need to be addressed and shown to be not more important, or better a better way to solve the problem.

@bascal133 but yes I'm glad too ofc

@XOCailleach161XO his choice was a direct consequence of including her and many other factors. He said he would not have made the "choice" otherwise.

@blazearmoru people don't choose to be angry sad or sleepy lol

@blazearmoru wtf do u mean by genetic determinism? Genetics play a relatively very small part in people's behavior. And I agree about the magic part btw. Like there's some invisible force making us do things other than the logical or whatever ur reasoning choice towards the goal u want according to the values you hold in the moment.
