Brian is honestly becoming a second Joshua Fluke. This is the type of video I can see Josh uploading! 😂 Also, I really like the shirt.

I like how some of the "lower-salary" jobs counterbalance that with much less stress. I'd love to see a reddit thread where people discuss what the most lucractive AND least stressful job they think is. Also, I have a really hard time buying that a video game debugger makes that much money.

I often see recruiters fail to even mention the company name so I ask about that first. 😂

We definitely need you to collaborate with Joshua Fluke. Imagine the possibilities! Now you should do the opposite and find 6 Absolutely Amazing Job Postings. 😂

This is one of the most helpful videos on YouTube! I've come across a lot of job applications that said several of these points. The smaller companies definitely require you to use your best judgement since Glassdoor won't always have reviews for them. Also, I didn't expect a Sunday video!

Someday, I want to see a candidate troll the interviewer by saying answering this question is their greatest weakness. 😂 Seriously though, this is one of the easiest interview questions to answer if you just prepare a little in advance. The only easier question I can think of is greatest strength, which is pretty much a freebie.

I really liked your analysis of these cringe job postings but can you zoom in a little bit more often? It was hard to read some of them. Thank you!

While I respect your opinion, I strongly disagree with it. The first two points don't apply if the company initially started with an unlimited PTO plan. The third point about abusing unlimited PTO is more of a problem with the individual than the actual PTO itself (People can abuse restricted PTO too). The fourth point about showing up in performance appraisals is something you have to clarify with management (Again, the good employees probably won't abuse it). The fifth point about negative perception is valid but it feels like a psychological trick that people put on themselves. Overall, I feel like unlimited PTO can be a great thing if the company handles it correctly. It's certainly a lot better than having too little PTO. As a side note, I'm not a huge fan of the restricted PTO model because adults should be trusted to take vacation time however they see fit. The smart employees will make sure not to go overboard.

The answer to this question depends VERY much on the particular company itself. There's always going to be companies one side of the spectrum or the other. That being said, companies that choose to pay based on location instead of value have the drawback that a person can simply choose to work for their competitors (or simply a different company) that pay based on value instead.

@ALifeAfterLayoff I certainly agree with you on that point.
