  1. Speaking as someone who learned Java, I actually do recommend beginners to learn it early on because it's so pervasive. But try your best not to work professionally as a Java developer. It's usually not a fun experience. If nothing else, learning Java will help you learn other programming languages and you'll appreciate the "less verbose" ones a lot more. 😂
