  1. It's very simple, TrickleDown economics didn't work. People do not want religious views forced on them. People do not want government to make any laws based on religion. Conservatives lose since they do not understand they do not follow their own principles. Just look at the debt under republican presidents starting with Reagan. Over 70% of the population want abortion rights, gay marriage while Republicans want to use a religious construct to take it away. This culture what BS is why conservatives lose.

  2. @SeanFication Have you ever read the Treaty of Tripoli? The Treaty is often cited in discussions regarding the role of religion in United States government for a clause in Article 11 of the English language American version which states that "the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion". Our founders were crystal clear, they wanted no religion in government or any government to force religion onto citizens. You can have all the Christian values you want, but keep them out of government.
