  5. @francescoG145  Sorry, you're wrong. When GDP shrank, there was low unemployment, record corporate profits, and consumer spending. Also labor market was strong. If you want to say two consecutive quarters equals a recession, maybe that would make sense. But at that time, other factors proved we were not in a recession.
