  1. Pretty much, maybe someday US oil producers will ramp up production, but why should they when they can make billions without the risk. Nothing is stopping then from drill baby drill other than high profits at current production levels.

  2.  @cardboardcollector2988  not for the whole world, there are plenty of places that will need it and their market is the whole world right? Also Ford/GM made their own decision to go electic by 2030.
