  2. @buckbiro  There were 2 recessions in the 80s and a stock market crash. Thousands lost jobs to outsourcing and compaines cut pensions in order to maximize profits. Income inequality went gangbusters, and farming went to sheet. Also, oil and gas companies went BK. But yeah, the rich got richer.
