  2. Don't know which peroxide was involved, but they can be unstable. When they were trying to decide what kind of fuel and oxidizer to use on military rockets, they were unable to stabilize hydrogen peroxide. Ended up deciding that fuming red nitric acid was safer.

  3. Sounds like something sprung a leak. Peroxide can be very unsafe around things like copper. That's what they think destroyed the Kursk.
