I like that he didn't edit the part where he forgot the safety on.

That's the most aggressive firearm sound I ever heard I think
361
there's a video from wired bypassing it with a magnet
268
or Ford Pinto which tended to explode when hit from the rear
99
they did that when they got Egyptian AKs to arm the afghans in the 70s.
94
Now I need an emotional support MP5 😭
85
couple years later and he'd probably be offering it for you for a pair of jeans..
42
they needed burst fire more than semi auto tbh, maybe a 5 round burst.
40
the biggest take away I got from this channel is how smart people were in the old times
39
The German Sten gun copy was a single man hour as Ian mentioned in that video
29
have you watched Lord of War? plenty of real ones exist in Africa with full auto ak47s.
28
1800 rpm actually
24
the most dated piece is probably the very old battery. Those cables look like regular consumer AV cables and won't last long either.
18
@stuartburton1167 Bullets so fast they cross the time-space continuum 😁
18
Two people really wanted that rifle
16
yup, it's his miracle in the desert!
16
@yeright1977 afaik this is kind of a myth. hugo boss manufactured the uniforms but the designs were made by the army itself.
15
My first ever dislike for an Ian video 😢 This gun is an instrument for tyranny on the long run.
15
6:00 Who would want to suppress the MG42? It's sound is great part of its overall effectiveness
14
their arms designers must've been the best in the world by that point after decades of work before and during the war with top resources and funding.
13
@Pablo-dw3wd Well, yes. 70% of the German army was in the USSR for most of the war.
13
@ThePonchoJoe it must've been requested by the gun's owner as he never hides markings in other videos. It's hide the markings or don't show the gun at all deal probably
11
@LisaAnn777 that's semi auto only
11
fake it until you make it. the company which created the original DOS operating system was called Intergalactic Digital Research
10
I usually take 4.20 hours to load my magazines
10
Just keep it with me, I promise I won't lose it somehow 😅 (or, why not install it in an actual rifle? it's legally a machine gun, so it doesn't matter if you install it or not)

There was nothing to watch really, all the information is in the audio.
9
Similar to how the federal income tax was introduced to make up for the loss in alcohol sales due to that prohibition. After the alcohol prohibition was removed the income tax remained.
9
One of the Titanic passengers had a battery powered flashlight in his cane that helped save his life. The technology existed at the time this rifle was being made.
9
I always assumed guns were simple and all similar copied designs from one another. This channel made me understand and appreciate guns in a totally different way. Thank you, Ian.
8
he did a new one on it
8
xD
7
Late May 2022 and we know Russian army has been a paper tiger after all
7
Who's here from Brandon's video 🙋♂️
7
Elbonia is real history tho, he just doesn't want to deal with angry comments if he puts the actual country name
7
the museums have their own experts
7
@AJ-tn3uu the numbers in Arabic are written left to right just like English
7
@Slithermotion the youtube translation of your comment says "not all plastic is plastic" 😅
6
* KelTel
6
source? Ian says this gun is from the 50s, dc10 started flying in 1970.
6
@mbr5742 He did a video on Katanas before
6
It's like owning a classic car and not driving it
6
When Ian started talking about the 'environmental' testing I was confused for a while and thought I was watching a video about 'Enhanced Interrogation' techniques.
6
@Pablo-dw3wd at that point in the war, quantity mattered more than quality for the Germans
6
@thegreatrobin2329 and Stg44..oh wait
6
was it the same bulky battery pack?!
6
@beargillium2369 yup! there were more electric cars in NYC than gasoline ones for quite a while because of how difficult it was to start up a gasoline engine and how dirty and difficult to maintain it was.
6
anyone here after what Alec Baldwin did?
5
to have his name on the rifle? isn't that an honor?
5
who took the first place?!?
