  1. I don't think anything will degrade in a good landfill, otherwise, we would never have mummy and the landfill would have polluted our ground water nearby. What I think we should do in plastic is to use enzymes to convert them to liquid or gaseous fuel so we can burn them for electricity. This will help us until we find economical carbon-free energy and until we find degradable alternative (i.e. Lignin and waste paper composite for molded faux wood).
