@solomonozmund6728 My uncle is an artist and art teacher. He did imitation drawing in his youth, street portrait in his later years, then teach arts in college when he is older, and now he did some exhibition and published a couple albums here and there in retirement. Some artists are famous because they really are that good (Gauguin), and others are great because they are innovators or daring (Picasso), then there are some who aren't that great but has a lot of stories (Van Gogh) and produced very few (low supply, high demand) and great for flipping. Most artists are starving and would do things with low standard for money, while doing their own arts to their own higher standard.

@termination9353 This is not US citizen buying up, this is REIT buying them to be packaged and resold into investment vehicles. They keep them empty so they won't drag down the rent average and therefore their portfolio price. When you see shit like this you know this is a monopoly.

It is just a middle man holding it in REIT and sold it to your "insurance product" or "retirement product" with high yield. Like those Reliant Capital ads that said 12-15% that Warren Buffet was earning....
