  1. M1 is good chip for tablet / phone but for a general computer for home use, not good. It is like a car that once the lease expire loses value and you just lease another one, no way to add ram if you need more later, no need to replace SSD if they went bad or add more. Not a big problem for office equipment lease (you just lease another one and swap them to another employee if you need something more powerful), but for home user not upgradable / repairable is a no-no.
