If he doesn't the insurance companies will. Very soon we will see people revolting because their insurance cost goes up because their coworkers is hospitalized and antivax, and very soon companies have to split up the pool between vax and antivax, like how smokers got to pay more.

@Allen-eq5uf You really think they don't? Small businesses end up laying off certain people to reduce their groups' health insurance cost (and their employees' contribution) all the time. Gay may have higher HIV cases but the biggest one these days are the drug users (mainly the heroine, via needle sharing). A lot of companies do drug test not because they need to but because they don't want to hire lowly trash. Oh sport car owners do pay a fuckload more on insurance but motocycle is cheaper because it weight less so they don't hit other car as hard, and they die instead of being in a coma for a long time.

Seriously in the US we have so much freedom, in the end the insurance companies will have to split up the pools between vaccinated, not vaccinated, smoker, non smoker, working from home, working in the office, do you have a crosswalk between 2 buildings, do you have a security camera, do you have a policy that prevent employees from self defense, do you have a policy of checking every customers for vaccination, do you have a policy of checking if someone is wearing a mask, etc. We as Americans need to have the insurance companies telling us what to do or else they will charge us more, to do the right thing, because they are the only one who can raise prices because they have the data to prove it, and they have the right to decline our businesses. Welcome to America.

@TheGiantRobot Impossible consider people thinks government is bad and increase cost is bad, in the end only insurance companies can tell you what to do or else they don't sell you the insurance.

@TheGiantRobot Yeah since when do the anti-vaxers like government mandating things instead of insurance companies mandating things? I just want to be on a different pool than them and let them win their own Darwin's award without me paying for them.

@TheGiantRobot I am not right wing or support it, just telling you nature has its way and our legal system has its way. Someone wanting freedom but not the consequence, will end up getting the consequence indirectly via insurance policy anyways.
