This is how a lot of the monopolies blew up: they market themselves to the investors as monopoly, then they sold for an artificially inflated price to the investors, then the investors charge artificially inflated price to pay for the leverage, then the customers fed up and find alternatives, then the monopoly obsolete, then the bubble pop.
