  2. The problem is they are not obligated to let you use their supercharger as you can still use a 3rd party charger for that. IMO what many companies do with their own standard is horrible. They lock you into a walled garden and you cannot choose what you want or not want. You either do as they say or GTFO.

  3. It would be hard to say whether they can void your warranty or not. If Tesla pull out some sort of test data saying that their power mode costing $2000 more but they pick the prime cells that have 10% better durability so you can abuse it 10% more, and this mod from 3rd party just abuse it 10% without the better quality cell, they could in theory deny you warranty at the end of life. Personally I wouldn't do any mod to any cars that are still under warranty and cost a lot. When a Tesla reaches only $5k I would probably just do whatever I want with it, but not when it was still worth 50k.
